How to Use

Wet hair thoroughly with warm water.
Apply a small amount of shampoo and lather into the scalp and hair.
Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed.
Follow with Bounce Curl conditioner or treatment.

If you are a first-time customer, we recommend that you prepare an apple-cider-vinegar (ACV) rinse (or use a clarifying shampoo) to remove any build-up from previously-used products. This will ensure you are receiving maximum benefits from our Bounce Curl products. Simply mix 1 cup ACV + 3 cups water. Shampoo hair, rinse, apply the mixture, and leave on hair for 13 minutes. Rinse. Condition. Proceed with Bounce Curl products.

The Best I've tried!

I have used many shampoos since the advent/explosion of curly/natural hair care lines (around 2008?)--from Trese**e to mud/clay to other specific salon curl brands. This shampoo is by far the best that I have used! I should wet my curls at least twice a week, but sometimes I don't have time to do that, so I need a deeply cleansing shampoo once a week that doesn't dry my hair out and irritate my scalp. This shampoo is amazing! The formula seems to contain simple and clean ingredients. You will get a nice gentle, but thorough clean, lots of foam (for those who need it), and no squeaky hair strands. I hope that they eventually make this in a salon size or at least larger. This is absolutely worth the price. There is nothing unique about the scent--a little citrus maybe. Additional fragrance could be irritating to the skin and scalp, so I it works for me. I have 4a, high porosity, medium density kinky-curls.

Love this Tipped Bottle

I really like this clarifying shampoo, but most of all I love the tipped bottle because it makes it so much easier to get it directly into the scalp.

lovely for addressing product buildup

i use this once every couple of weeks or whenever my hair starts feeling like there’s product buildup. it does a great job at “resetting” my hair, and i love the smell. it can be a little drying, but that’s why it’s a clarifying shampoo, not a shampoo for daily use. less drying than other clarifying shampoos i’ve used. good product

Great lather without drying

Shampoo is the one product I always struggled to nail down with my hair care routine. This shampoo was a game changer - it has exactly the right amount of lather I was always looking for, without stripping the moisture from my hair. I love the smell too - very citrusy, like grapefruit. The applicator tip helps you apply directly to your roots which I love!

Love how my curls are defined and love the scent!!!
